Red Card Homophobia: Campaign Round-Up

September 28, 2010

Thank you again to everyone who has been continually supporting and checking the blog for more updates. Here’s a quick update on what we’ve achieved so far:

  • Our members voted, and have chosen an official logo and a slogan for our campaign. The slogan is “Keep the game beautiful; give homophobia the red card.” Our logo is below:

  • German site, Fag Hags, recently mentioned us on their blog. You can go visit their site here to take a look. Danke!
  • Also, another quick reminder to any readers who want to contribute by writing for our blog: you can do so by following the guidelines posted in this blog entry and sending your articles to redcardhomophobia[at]gmail[dot]com.

We will be posting more consistently over the next few days, so do continue to visit the blog for updates. Once again thank you for all the support you have given us.

Hey! I write for a feminist blog at my school, and I just wanted to let you know that I’m linking to this campaign in my post about female sports fans/masculinity in sports. The blog post is here: http://jmuwomensstudentcaucus.wordpress.com/2010/09/29/the-shocking-t…le-sports-fans, if you’re interested in reading it.

    (Also, I found this on ontd_football :))
