Ajax Players Show Their Support for Ending Homophobia in Football

July 6, 2011

As part of our campaign to gain support from players at clubs around the world, our Dutch mod was able to approach several Ajax players about supporting our work to end homophobia in football.  After meeting with an Ajax press spokesperson to get permission, we got to talk to several players and ask them if they were okay with having their pictures taken to show that they are against homophobia in football. Happily many agreed and took photos holding the Red Card Homophobia logo. We hope that this is the first of many similar successes as we approach more clubs and players in the future.
